Rolwaling Valley Trek is situated between the Everest and Langtang Himalaya ranges, bellow Gauri Shankar (7145m) and south border of Tibet. This distant region is considered as a demanding and worthwhile trekking route. The region consist typical Tamang villages, stunning Mountain ranges, different flora and fauna and many other attractions. The Rolwaling Valley trekking is one of the finest high mountain valleys west of Khumbu, straight to the Tibetan border line where is a wild, lonely alpine valley the “Rolwaling” which is called “the grave” by the native Sherpa’s on account of its location.
Rolwaling valley trek starts from a nice and small bazar Charikot - Singati with the polite and tiny Sherpa village. After trekking for a week, you will arrive near by the glacier lake called Tsho Rolpa Lake which is an imperil lake where will have a day relax for acclimatization before the Tashi Lapcha pass, 5755 meters, is one of the toughest passes in Everest Himalaya. After the Tashi Lapcha pass, the trek join the Khumbu valley route so you can carry on to the Everest Base camp or back to Lukla and fly to Kathmandu.
