After 8-9 hrs Driving from Kathmandu we reach Jiri and began Pike trekking. Pike trek is lower Everest region. During this place we can see nice place and view-points to Everest region. We can end this trip from Jiri or Phaplu or upper Everest region via Phakding - Namche - Everest base camp and Lukla. The main object is to scratch the panoramic view from the top of Pike 4070 meters, which includes Mt. Everest 8848m as well as a great number of other snow-capped peaks ranging from Mt. Kanchanjunga 8586m to the east to Mt. Manaslu 8463m, Lhotse 8516m, Makalu, Number and many numbers of mountain.
Another aspect of this place is Golla village which is one of the richest village for Sherpa cultural. Golla village is small Sherpa village but richly decorated by ancient and festive monasteries. The Golla village formed on a hill in an elevation of 3000m offers a wide Mountain panorama including Mt. Gaurishanker, Karyilung, Numbur and Khatanga. The village has 5 ancient and festive monasteries including a nun's monastery. This region is best to visit during March-April to sight rhododendron flower, Magnolia and wild orchid and during August, September, October, November, December, January & February are the best months for trekking.
From Junbesi We leave Phaplu airport route and take Everest Base camp route. Everest is the famous area for the trekking but it is very difficult than Pike trek due to high altitude.
