Gangala Trekking Pass 5122m goes from Langtang Khola introduced by Tilman as one of the world’s most beautiful valleys to the Langtang and Jugal Himal with their individual towering peaks. This region, seen in the distance from the Kathandu basin, allows one to explore many Himalyan vistas in a short time. The course abounds in variety and one may enjoy native customs as well. There are many hotels and eating places, so it is a popular course for trekkers who don’t care to rough it.
To explore Gangala Pass, trekkers may need knowledge of climbing fixing rope, setting equipment or they can hire one experience guide who can help them in the mountain. During this period we use local restaurant to eat meal and lodge for sleeping till Kyangin Gomba. In Kyangin Gomba, trekkers will have taken a rest for acclimatization. Here our guide/ cook will prepare packing meal for till 4 days. From Kathamndu we will carry some dry foods, some medicine, EPI gas, gas stove, sleeping tent etc. After cross the Gangala Pass We will climbing down Keldang to Dukpa to Tarekygyang to Melamch to Kathamndu.

You will enjoy visiting the culturally rich Tamang villages, Buddhist Gombas and the fantastic landscape with rice fields. Similarly Mt Langtang, Mt. Langtang Lirung, Mt. Ganesh, Mt. Yala Peak, Mt. Paldor Peak, Mt. Doreje Lakpa, wild animal, wild birds, rhododendron, Tamang's rich cultures are main attraction of this region and Passes.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel (1350m) Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Sybrubensi (1467m) Over night at the lodge. It takes 8 - 9 hours to reach first days destination. Day 03: Trek from Sybrubensi to Lama Hotel (2470M). O/N at lodge. You may walk along the Bhote Koshi and Langtang Khola via Bamboo, This place is famous for red Panda, which takes 5-6 hours. Day 04: Trek from Lama Hotel to Gore Tabela (2929m). View to Langtang Ri 7205m, Gangala Chuli, Yala Peak are main attraction of this day. It taks 3-4 hours. O/N Lodge Day 05: Trek Gore Table to Langtang village (3430m) It takes 3-4 hours. This day you may see chhese factory, Monastery view, Mt Ganchempo 6387m, Mani stone, Mt. Kimsu 6745m, Mt Yans 6543m are main attraction of the day. O/N Lodge Day 06: Trek from Lantang to Kyangjin Gomba (3870m) you should arrive at Kyangjin at lunchtime then you acclimatize and explore the area, Which takes 5-6 hours. O/N at Lodge. Day 07: Rest at Kyangin Gomba for acclimatization you can visit the monastery and the cheese factory, walk up glaciers of Langtang Lirung or ascend Kyangjin Ri (4350m.) behind the village, for a breathtaking panorama of the Langtang peaks and back to hotel. O/N at the same lodge. Day 08: Trek from Kyangin Gompa to Ngegang. Early in the morning Trek to kyanjin Ri and you may watch panoramic views of Sisapangma, Langshisa Ri, NayaKang, Yala peak, Langtang Lirung and back to Kyangin Gompa, then trek to Ngegang(4200m) It takes 6-7 hours. O/N Camping Day 09: Trek from Ngegang to GANGALA PASS 5122m to Keldang. From Gangala Pass you may watch Nayakanga 5844m, Himal Chuli (7893m), Mananslu(8156m) and Ganesh Himal (7406) etc. It takes 6 hours. O/N Camping Day 10: Trek from Keldang to Dukpu (4090m) you may walk among the green forest, grassland with fantastic view of mountain. This takes 5 hours. O/N Camping Day 11:Trek from Dukpu to Tarke Ghyang (2750m), This days if weather should be clear you may see view of Annapurna and Everest reason. 6 hours O/N Lodge Day 12: Trek from Tarke Ghyang to Sermathang (2620m) Shermathang is another pretty Sherpa village where you can visit monasteries. You may watch view of Jugal Himal , Bhairab Takura range and north face of Shermathang village. It takes 5 hours. O/N Lodge Day 13: Trek from Sermathang to Melamchi Pul (850m) thise days you may walk quite pleasant with mountain views and interaction with local and friendly people of Tamang, which takes 4 hours. O/N Lodge Day 14: Drive from Melamchi Pul to Kathmandu (1350), transfer to hotel. It takes 4 hours and then transfer to hotel. Day 15: Free day in Kathamndu. Day 16: Departure to your destination or start new Tour in Nepal. |
